What are the maintenance precautions for air-cooled heat exchanger bundles?

If there is a leak, the tubesheet with a threaded cover can be tightened by adjusting the nut. If no effect is achieved, the bundle should be shut down for replacement of gaskets or nuts (whenever gaskets or bolted connections need to be replaced, the system should be shut down and the medium drained, and then the work can be carried out).
2. If there is a leak at the end of the fin tube, the tube can be re-swelled. The re-swelling operation should not exceed two times, and care should be taken not to over-swell. If re-swelling cannot repair the leak, the fin tube should be replaced. As a temporary measure, it is also allowed to block the leak with a metal plug.
3. If it is necessary to check the surface of the tubesheet, a wooden board or rubber board should be placed on it to avoid damaging the fins.
4. If an aluminum fin is knocked down, it should be straightened with a special tool (a flat-nose pliers).
5. Regularly clean the fins to reduce air resistance and maintain cooling capacity. The cleaning method is to use high-pressure water or compressed steam.
6. Check whether the heat compensation structure of the tubesheet works normally. The floating tubesheet must move freely and not be stuck or jammed.
7. During regular maintenance, use steam and water to clean the interior of the tubesheet. It is necessary to clean the dirt thoroughly. And the corrosion thickness should be checked, and the value should not exceed the specified value (carbon steel is 3 mm). After checking, the tubesheet should be re-installed, and new nuts and gaskets should be used.
8. During regular maintenance, a layer of silver powder paint should be applied to the outer surface (excluding the fin surface) of the tubesheet.
