L-type wound finned tube (also known as L-foot finned tube) is a cost-effective and widely used heat exchange component. It is manufactured by folding the edge of aluminum or copper strip into an L-shaped foot, then tightly winding the strip helically around the base tube under constant tension. No welding is required during production.

Structure & Material: The base tube can be carbon steel, stainless steel or copper. The fins are mostly aluminum or copper. The L-shaped fin foot fully covers and closely fits the tube surface, ensuring tight contact, uniform fin pitch and stable overall structure.
Key Advantages: It effectively protects the base tube from air and moisture corrosion with full surface coverage. The tight tube-fin contact reduces thermal resistance and ensures stable heat transfer performance. Featuring high production efficiency and competitive cost, it is an ideal choice for mass standard heat exchange equipment.
Application: Suitable for working temperature below 150℃, widely used in air coolers, air heaters, HVAC systems, industrial heating, food drying, petrochemical and power industry auxiliary heat exchange systems.
